In the historic town of Waterbury, CT lies a building known for its art deco design, directly across the street from the University of Connecticut (UCONN). Our client took the grand opportunity of transforming this beauty into state of the art off-campus student housing. The two upper floors contain suites for 98 students, each with room enough for 4, full kitchen, living room, dining room, and 2 baths.
We designed the logo to reflect a fun art deco approach on the building’s facade. The website captures the building’s history while introducing its transformation, and includes features such as online application forms and a zoomable floorplan. Custom illustrations give students a sneak peek at what the rooms look like. And behind the scenes we customized administrative controls to ensure maximum usability of student data. Marketing efforts are strengthened by print material that complement the site.
